Most of my waking life was spent traversing the
rugged High Plains of Wyoming where I fell in love with
Photography, capturing the beauty of the wide-open skies and the
rugged mountains. I founded Fleeting Glimpse Images in 1997 to
be the business extension of my creative endeavors. A professional
photographer since 1984, I continually sought ways to expand my
creative outlets. After years spent toiling in the heavy industrial distribution game, I decided to
strike out on my own. Using the skills of design acquired
while serving as the 'marketing department' for my company, I
struck out on my own. My first loves of writing and
photography drove me to seek this new existence and, in spite of
a successful career in upper management, I forsook the corporate
world and brought Fleeting Glimpse Images into prominence.
My time is now spent capturing images, writing short stories, novels, designing and working
as a freelance artist.
My images have been featured on the Twin Cities Television Media
News, the Department of Natural Resources Website, the National
Wildlife Refuge print and display media and the National Park
Service. I served as Artist In Residence at Badlands National
Park for the Spring of 2007. I teach techniques in Digital
Photography and Image Editing Software and speak at the various Twin Cities Camera Clubs. In
addition, I am an instructor at
CorelWorld and
PowerPoint Live, teaching design
and digital photography. I am a contributor to
CorelDraw
Unleashed Magazine. My original work has been
featured on several CD, DVD and Book covers. I have
published several Science Fiction short stories.
More recently, I taught digital photography for
Worldesigns Photo's
