Laurie Hernandez

Laurie Hernandez started her photography career at an early age, helping her father develop and print black and white photos.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science, she worked in the computer industry for twelve years allowing her to travel the world extensively.  Intrigued by the power of imagery, Laurie turned her professional attention to photography and now has over fifteen years of experience as an award-winning artist and photographer.

She has photographed all over the United States as well as in Central and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, New Zealand and Australia.  Closer to home, she focuses on the natural beauty of Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Her company, Worldesigns, LLC continues to provide photographic artworks both commercially and privately. Her photographs have been published in books, cards, calendars, advertising and fundraising literature.  Laurie is currently leading photography and cultural tours to remote areas of Costa Rica.
